Sonnesyn PTSO

Welcome to the virtual home of the Sonnesyn PTSO (Parent, Teacher, Student Organization.) We encourage everyone in the Sonnesyn community to attend the PTSO meetings. This is your opportunity to have your ideas for your child's education heard, to learn about what is happening in your child's school, and to meet other parents and teachers. We are also a non-profit 501(c)(3) - so your direct donations are always tax deductible.

2nd Chance for Yearbook Orders!

Deadline for Yearbook 2nd Chance is May 18th. We need to sell quite a few more (hint, hint). Just $12 and you have a lasting memory book for your student's school year! No scrapbooking, no hassle! Send in your $, checks made out to LifeTouch, with your student's NAME / ROOM# / GRADE in a regular envelope, or stop in the office for an order form.

BEE Active and Safe Routes To School Week!

Please remember to BEE ACTIVE Sunday through Thursday starting today May 6th, and turn in your activity slips, just like for the TV Turn off - but don't turn them into the same box! Look for separate containers. Don't know where your yellow form is? I've attached it!

Our Mascot is the Honeybee. The direction given to the artist was an image that was gender neutral, positive, not aggressive and that embodies our 3 behaviors (Respect, Resposibility, Belonging) as well as the rally cry, "Believe it - Achieve it!" The coloring is changeable - i.e. the shoes.

All meetings start at 6:30 in the Media Center:

We would love to see you there. The teaching staff attends 1-2 meetings / year. We'd like our parents to do the same; please try to attend 1 or 2 meetings this year!
